To keep Bali clean for the world
Though we are pleased to offer our guests the comforts of high class hospitality, we are also concerned about their environmental and climate impact.
We designed the hotel facilities to reduce those impacts by:
- Local treatment of used water by eco-ceramic septic tanks. Zero nature pollution.
- Compost from organic waste recycling 80% of all kitchen waste.
- Glass recycling using a specific proprietary grinding machine that transforms the glass into sand.
- Plastic and cardboard recycling, with the help of the local community.
- Energy savings on lighting and equipment.
- Rainwater collection from the roofs of the Bendega villas.
- Using eco lab labelled cleaning products, shampoo and soap.
- No gardening chemicals.
- Drinking water fountains are provided free of charge.
- Bamboo straws used instead of plastic.
- All spa oils 100% natural.
- Using local, soft, natural water.
- Most equipment is maintained on site instead of replaced.
- Paperless and green marketing.
- Four different vehicles to match vehicle size to the exact needs of passengers.
- All buildings from natural and local materials.
- Eco tours.

We also pay a lot of attention to our human environment. Puri Dajuma is the perfect example of a family run business that economically and socially benefits the whole village.
Our CSR is made up of the following initiatives.
- Comprehensive social protection of our staff.

- Support of the local communities in the surrounding villages in various projects such as orphanages, dancing school, a hotel school, the sea turtle conservatory, poverty relief, etc…

- Drawing contest organized and held every year with seven local primary schools (496 students in total) to raise awareness of environmental protection in the younger generations.
- Green procurement: organic vegetables and fresh local sea food directly from Pekutatan Village.

- A family run resort that is respectful of Balinese tradition, culture and religion.
