FLAMBOYANT IS BLOOMING IN BALI

There is a tree in South East Asia that is unlike any other in terms of size and beauty. Even its name is not ordinary. It is the Flamboyant which was borrowed from French into English in the 19th century, so aptly named because its immense racemes of scarlet and orange flowers that really resemble the flames of a fire. In Bali it is the season of their flowering and everywhere you can see their colorful conflagration. In Dajuma, we particularly like this tree native to Madagascar.
