LOBSTERS HUNTERS AROUND DAJUMA
Everyday around Dajuma Cape, skilled lobster hunters are using rustic traps crafted from locally sourced bamboo, in the age-old tradition of lobster hunting. Armed with years of experience passed down through generations, they have a deep understanding of the tides, currents, and the behavior of lobsters. They strategically position their traps along the rocky seabed, where lobsters seek refuge in rocky formations. The traps, ingeniously made from bamboo, create pathways that lure lobsters with the promise of shelter. As the night unfolds, the traps begin to yield the fruits of their labor. The rhythmic sound of the waves is accompanied by the excitement of a successful catch, when the hunters carefully retrieve their prized lobsters from the traps. This sustainable and traditional method not only supports the livelihoods of the local community but also underscores the delicate balance between human activity and the preservation of the marine ecosystem. Happy hunting guys!
